2020年5月13日星期三，新城市廣場有”和你Sing”活動，PW1 & PW2 是喜茶員工，警員PW3 & PW4 着便裝在商場巡邏，19:30 PW3 PW4 見到有超過150人在4樓聚集，有70至80人在5樓和6樓聚集叫囂，警方出示旗幟，商場有廣播，20:20商舖開始落閘，喜茶仍然開門，PW3 & PW4喬裝顧客入喜茶觀察，20:49 ，D1, D2 & D4 身穿黑衣，走入店內破壞，D3在睇水，PW1 & PW2 阻止，PW3 & PW4 上前表露身份，D2, D3 隨即逃走，PW3制服D1在地，PW4制服咗D4，有一群人(D5 & D6) 上前叫囂，PW4 被踢，有人拉PW4，D4走脫，只係制服D1，有女士用遮刺PW3，警員噴胡椒噴霧，PW3 & PW4 受傷。

當晚21:00 PW4在現場拘捕D1，22:10 PW8 & PW9 在新城市廣場其他地方拘捕 D5 & D6。

2020年5月22日，PW5 & PW6 上門拘捕 D3 & D4 兩人，PW7 檢取二人手機。同日 PW10 上門拘捕 D7，因佢在群組煽動他人。PW11, PW12 & PW13 負責處理D3和D4的手提電話。PW14 專責睇CCTV，辨別D3～D6在案發時的位置。
