Tula´s ATGM "Kornet" never ceases to confirm its status, not only as one of the best anti-tank missile systems with an interference-protected semi-automatic laser-beam guidance system, engaging 9M133M-2 ATGMs at a range of up to 8000 m, but also a multi-purpose tactical missile system capable of engaging optical-contrast air targets at speeds of up to 950 - 1000 km/h using specialised 9M133FM-3 missiles with a non-contact (presumably laser) fuze and a high-explosive warhead. It is reported that this ATGM is capable of intercepting air objects at a distance of 10 km and altitudes of 7-9 km, which makes it a near-sonic analogue of the British LMM "Martlet".

In this episode, a Kornet ATGM unit of the South intercepts a heavy hexacopter of the Baba Yaga type operating in ultra-low-altitude mode with a 9M133FM-3 missile.
