Germany is cracking down on climate activists over growing impatience with disruptive protest tactics and suspicions of "forming or supporting a criminal organization."

German police raided 15 properties linked to the Last Generation climate activist group, seizing assets as part of an investigation into its finances, including at least 1.4 million euros ($1.5 million) collected by the campaign authorities said were “mostly used for the committing of further criminal action of the association.”
