Yes I am a graveyard crow, I watch both day and night.
Souls now kept deep down below, I keep them each in sight.

I wait here for, your soul to reach, the tombs which I alight.
Here I perch, I feed and screech, in darkness or light.

I see all kinds of hurt and woe, engulfed in loss and plight.
Only I will truly know, who dies in peace or smite.

I watch the graves, become alone, as each new soul takes flight.
Here will rot all marble and stone, leaving no names to recite.

I'll see you sooner than you know, I know this from hindsight.
Here I'll be, a graveyard crow, from twilight to twilight.
