🌎🇨🇳 — Another Chinese Balloon Spotted: Now flying over Latin America
"We are seeing reports of a balloon transiting Latin America," said Defense Department spokesman Brig. General Patrick Ryder said in a statement to The Washington Post. "We now assess that it is another Chinese surveillance balloon."
This is the second time, in less than 3 days, that the United States has detected the presence of Chinese spying devices. Last Wednesday, it was detected in the skies of Montana, in the western United States, later, on Thursday, China claimed responsibility for the balloon, which it denied was surveillance equipment, but only meteorological, which left the original route.
