🇵🇪⛈💸💥— Heavy rains and Cyclone Yaku have caused serious damage to Peru's infrastructure, frustrating expectations of an economic recovery for the year 2023

A bill was also passed to increase the 2023 public budget by 8.2 billion soles ($2.17 billion). According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, 4 billion soles will be allocated to cover expenses for the damage generated by the emergency.
