There is a lot of drama going around to try and weaken our protests. Unfortunately, someone who is quite influential is also promoting this drama without knowing all the facts. It is FUD and should be ignored. It will do us absolutely no good to engage in it.
Background: An organization out of Germany started organizing global protests worldwide over a year ago. These protests have been quite successful but the movement has grown past WWD. The French, Americans and Italians etc aren't going to wait 3 months to protest like WWD wants. The organizer Sunny in Germany has very strict rules that go against the first and second amendment which are core American values. Sunny in Germany says to be "official", you can not have any political signs. If you are "official", they will share your flyer on their channel (who cares, not a big deal). This means you would not be able to wear a MAGA hat or have a political sign that says "Let's go Brandon" at any rally. For this reason, many countries decided to not be "official" while still synchronizing protests on the same dates. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being "unofficial". Americans don't need to follow some German guy's rules to have protests. Anyone saying we need to be "official" is against the 1st amendment. America's movement like many other countries has already grown past the WWD movement and we have protests much more frequently then they do (every 3 months). Anyone accusing organizers of being infiltrated because they won't censor what Americans express at protests is frankly an idiot and should be ignored.
