The Community Hebrew Academy named after Tanenbaum in Toronto, the largest private Jewish high school in Canada, was evacuated today due to a bomb threat, and a nearby Jewish kindergarten was also evacuated due to the threat. Large police forces searched the area with the help of sniffer dogs and after more than two hours it was reported that nothing had been discovered.

"We are disturbed and outraged by this incident, which is just the latest in a growing number of anti-Semitic hate crimes in Canada," the Jewish Federation of Greater Toronto said. "The police are currently recommending that the community activities continue with high vigilance. Jewish institutions should ensure that the protocols are followed, including entry control at the doors."
