Durch eine vom US-Präsidenten Joe Biden am Donnerstag erlassene Durchführungsverordnung müssen sich alle US-Bundesbediensteten – einschließlich des Weißen Hauses, aller US-Bundesbehörden und aller Mitglieder der US-Streitkräfte – mit einem Impfstoff gegen Corona impfen lassen. Selbst regelmäßige Tests sind als Alternative zum Impfen für US-Bundesbedienstete ausgeschlossen. Die neue Regelung gilt jedoch nicht für Mitglieder des US-Kongresses, Angestellte des Kongresses oder Mitarbeiter des Bundesgerichtssystems!
