Before the passage of the 1965 immigration act the White share of the population of Virginia was increasing.
Whites had risen modestly from 75.3% of Virginia's population in 1940 to a share of 79.2% by 1960 as Blacks departed during the several waves of the Great Migration.
Then, with the passage of several immigration related bills, Reagan's amnesty, and the general promotion of immigration, the trends reversed.
As of 2020 White Virginians have fallen to just 58.6% of their state's population.
The foreign-born population has grown nearly four-fold, and more than 61% of these immigrants are non-White.
Still, Virginia could change its policies of funding illegal alien healthcare and education, and focus on those of repatriation and remigration.
Through a coordinated and state implemented program Virginia's Whites could increase to a 70% share of the commonwealth's population once again.

But, the post-1965 era of mass immigration, legal and illegal, has transformed the state.
The state where the colonization of the Americas began, and where the Revolutionary War came to an end, is now just 58.6% White.

45% of people of color would like to leave the United States and resettle abroad if they had the resources to do so.
Including 14% of native born Asians and 30% of Asians born abroad.
Some 40% of Hispanics make regular return visits to their ancestral homelands, while 47% of US born Hispanics primarily identify with those homelands.
If the American state were to sponsor the repatriation of these individuals the numbers of repatriates would be quite high.
14.9 million Asians, 26.5 million Blacks, and 45 million Hispanics could be removed from the country through adept policymaking.
In total 86.1 million non-Whites could be peaceably and humanly removed from the United States, returning Whites to an 80% share of the population.

Europe's Youth are going through a significant political transition.
As Europe approaches EU elections a few significant political trends are going to play out, and continue to become more significant, in the coming decades:
European Youth are the nationalist right's biggest voting base.
In Germany 22% of people aged 14-29 would vote for the AfD, An increase of 100% compared to two years ago.
Geert Wilders PVV was the most popular party among Dutch voters under 35 in last year's elections.
And in France, Marine Le Pen won 49% of people aged 25-34 in the last presidential election. She on only 29% of voters over 70.
At the same time Europe's youth looks toward nationalism they are looking away from liberal democracy.
Just 38% of Germans are consistent supporters of liberal democracy, just 27% of the French, and 45% of the Polish and Italians support the liberal democratic order that dominates Europe.
Liberal regimes in Europe are not going to collapse tomorrow, or next week, but there is a significant long term transition in the political preferences of young White people, particularly young White men, about what their society ought to look like.
Whites want change, and they're looking for it.

Between 1900 and 1960 the population of Florida increased from 528,000 to 4.9 million.
In this same period the White share of the population increased from 56% to 82.1%.
More than 3.5 million Whites made Florida their home in those 60 years.
After the passage of the 1965 Immigration Act these positive demographic trends reversed.
By 2020 Florida was just 51.5% White, and more than 10 million non-Whites had taken up residence in the state.
Policy changes created the current situation, and policy changes can undo it.

Scotland's census results on race and ethnicity paint a mixed picture.
Whites retain a healthy 92.9% share of the Scottish population, but the share declined more in the decade between 2011 and 2022 than it did in the 30 years before 2011.
The share of native Scots has decreased by 6.25 points from 83.95% in 2011 to 77.7% in the 2022 data.
The number of native Scots declined by 200,000, while the population of ethnic minorities increased by 177,000.
The Black African population of Scotland doubled from 29,000 in 2011 to 58,000 in 2022. While the Asian population increased by 140,000.
On the positive side, Scotland gained 43,100 speakers of Gaelic and Scots, and the youth population of the country remains overwhelmingly White.
