The greatest prison we live in is the fear of what other people think.
The question is, why do we place so much importance on what others think of us? So much so, that we will not say what we think and not do what we want?
We are placed in school from the tender age of three or four, and what do we learn from the very beginning? To conform, to fit in, to follow and to obey.
Before we are allowed to develop freely into who we might be, we are placed with others and measured up constantly against them.
We grow up needing and wanting to ‘fit in’, hence our personalities develop as a blended mix of who we are, and what others have made us to be, or want us to be, or expect us to be.
Through both peer pressure and indoctrination, our essence gets buried under so many layers, that we don’t even get to know it.
Meanwhile, everyone around us seems to love us for that which we have been made to be, so why rock the boat?
We grow up getting complimented for following norms and rules, we get patted in the back for conforming and obeying. We measure ourselves against our peers, who have in turn, been put through the same system and told to behave in the same way, so as long as you stick to the social charade life is good. But is it?
It’s safe, and we got addicted to safety from childhood because whenever we dared speak our minds, or do things differently, we got into trouble.
In a world where the ego is still the driving force behind most of our decisions and actions, being complimented, applauded, accepted and praised by others has become more important than being true to ourselves.
In fact, most people don’t even know who they are, they have become a product of the system and they don’t even know it. That is the psychological prison they’ve built for us. That is the matrix.
I have often said, how the seeking of truth about the world around you, will eventually lead you to finding the truth about yourself, this is exactly where we are now.
As you beging to question, to doubt, to ask, to look and to research, you will begin to recognise the layers of deception around you and this in turn will make you acknowledge the layers of deceipt within you.
It’s time to strip them off. It’s time to step out of that societal comfort zone that has the real ‘you’ hidden and imprisoned.
Daring to speak your mind, unafraid of what others might think, is none other than you holding the key to the cage, unlocking it and stepping out.
Freedom is not something others grant you, freedom is something you were born with but relinquished, only you can claim it back.
Speaking your mind, discovering who you are and daring to be just that, are the first steps to freedom.
Nobody can do that for you, but we can do it together.

Part of this ‘Great Awakening’ is about gaining a new understanding of what is good for us on every aspect of life.
Physical and mental health had been, to a large degree, disregarded, in the pursuit of material gains, success or simple survival within a matrix that simple seeks to exploit us.
This is changing rapidly, as people become increasingly aware of their vital human needs. Living in symbiosis with nature is not only necessary for the planet but also for our own well being.
The most beautiful part of this journey is the ‘retuning’ with our natural sorroundings; appreciating the abundance, the beauty and the miracle of natural life.
I wonder if any of you have noticed this, but I feel as if my senses had been enhanced through this process. I know it sounds weird and it’s difficult to put into words, but it’s a sense of greater awareness and synchronicity with everything that sorrounds me. It makes me feel alive in a totally different way, a deeper dimension, a greater degree.
Despite the madness and the chaos, those of us that have been on this journey for a while, have achieved a sense of wonder and awe for life, like never before and it feels wonderful to be alive at this time of insane contrasts and polarity.
Everything is extreme now, but if you’re walking on the right path, at least you will be experiencing extreme beauty, appreciation, hope, faith and love.
Despite it all, this is a wonderfully unique time to be alive, let’s focus on that.
