🚰 Lebanese & Syrian water is essential for Israel, as the Hasbani River, Wazzani Spring, the Golan, and Galilee Basin, represent 1/3 of Israel's water resources.

This water is diverted to the Israeli settlements via the “National Water Carrier”, while the Jordan Valley south of the Sea of Galilee, and the Dead Sea, are starving. The state of Jordan is also under acute threat; Israel buys peace by providing it an annual quantity that, last year, did not exceed 50 million m³.
⋯ In March 2002 Lebanon diverted part of the Wazzani Spring to supply the village, an action that then Prime Minister of Israel, Ariel Sharon, said was a “casus belli” and could lead to war.

Knesset introduces a bill to stop Christians who share the Gospel

A bill to sanction proselytism up to 1 year in prison (2 years, when soliciting minors) has been submitted by “United Torah Judaism” MKs Moshe Gafni and Yaakov Asher, who are allied with Netanyahu. Gafni is the chairman of the Finance Committee, he first tried to ban evangelism in 1999. Asher is the chairman of the Internal Affairs and Environment Committee.

The bill would outlaw having spiritual conversations with Israelis of any religion, however “in their official explanation of the bill, they specifically emphasized the warning to stop Christians”, says All Israel News. “Publishing books, printed literature, online articles, podcasts (...) would also become illegal. So would discussing the Gospel message via email, text messages, written letters and/or on social media.”

Netanyahu will not accept such legislation, but his allies “are far more aggressive in this legislative session than ever before”.

— During such speech, Mr. Smotrich said that "there was no such thing as a Palestinian people", saying that the Palestinian identity was “an invention from the last century" and advocated for the Total Expulsion of Arabs from Israel

— “Do you know who are the Palestinians?” asked the head of the ultranationalist Religious Zionism party and Israel’s finance minister. “I’m Palestinian,” he said, also mentioning his grandmother who was born in the northern Israeli town of Metula 100 years ago, and his grandfather, a 13th-generation Jerusalemite, as the “real Palestinians.”

On the pulpit where the Israeli Minister made the statement, a Map containing the Controversial "Greater Israel" Project, where the territory of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as the West Bank, the Golan Heights and Southern Lebanon appear attached as Part of Israel, as proposed by Jewish Revisionist Zionist militias during the 1948 War, which enraged not only Palestinian representatives, but also the Jordanian Monarchy

— "The Israeli Minister of Finance's use, during his participation in an event held yesterday in Paris, of a map of Israel that includes the borders of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the occupied Palestinian territories represents a reckless inflammatory act, and a Violation of international norms and the Jordanian-Israeli peace treaty."
