How Bolsonaro's disinformation works
For years, outgoing Brazilian President Bolsonaro has built the narrative of a rigged election. Misinformation is spreading in Germany, too - among other things, the protests are clearly overestimated.
The conspiracy narratives of Bolsonaro and his allies are also spreading in Germany. For here, too, the Brazilian has some supporters - among others in the "lateral thinkers" movement. Markus Haintz, a well-known lawyer in the scene, even conducted an hour-long interview with Bolsonaro last year - together with Vicky Richter, who, like Haintz, was once a member of the "Die Basis" party.

The next knighthood for me - the #Tagesschau that #CNN of #Germany calls me in an article #conspiracytheorist or #narrator and not a #journalist who does it’s job😂😂 what an honor to be mentioned by so-called #faktenchecker 😂
That one of course, as a #faktenchecker or better said as an employee of the #propaganda department of the #German state, discredits real journalists who report #bias and #agenda free, is nowadays part of the good tone in the #media landscape.
