The nuclear deal with Iran

A senior Western source reveals that Iran has agreed to drop its demand to remove the Revolutionary Guards from the list of terrorist groups in the US, but it still wants strong guarantees that Washington will not withdraw from the nuclear deal again.

Just a reminder - Iran has already everything it wants as far as weapon graded enriched uranium. No deal will prevent her from having what it has obtained already. This is all a big show!

An attack on a Russian-controlled prison in the town of Olenivka, Donetsk Oblast, a few days ago killed at least 53 Ukrainian POWs and injured 75 on July 29. Both Kyiv and Moscow blame each other for the devastating explosion, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy calling it a “deliberate mass killing”. The newly built section of the prison held Ukrainian fighters from the Azovstal steel plant who had achieved worldwide fame for the defense of Mariupol during a brutal months-long siege. Although not yet confirmed to be by Russia, the attack has sparked outrage across Ukraine, particularly as the safety and evacuation of the Azovstal fighters was facilitated by the United Nations.

The American intelligence believes that since the attack the Russians are working hard to eliminate evidences and contaminate any future investigation of the scene.

As expected: - The Chinese just added another area around Taiwan , the seventh in number, where their exercise will be held - and extended it until Monday.

I believe that if China plans on taking over Taiwan it will do so before the next presidential elections in the USA.

Japan reports that 5 Chinese missiles landed in their territorial waters for the first time ever!!

The United Arab Emirates expresses support for China's sovereignty and says that the "One China" principle must be respected.

The Ministry of Defense of Japan stated that the launch of nine Chinese ballistic missiles was detected as part of the exercise around Taiwan and that five of them fell in the exclusive economic zone of Japan, southwest of the island of Tsurama in Okinawa Prefecture, the first time that a Chinese missile has fallen in the Japanese economic zone. Another missile fell north-northwest of Yonguni Island in Okinawa Prefecture, but outside the EEZ and three missiles landed north of Taiwan and southwest of the island.

US will postpone Minuteman III missile test planned for this weekend to show restraint and to avoid any possible misunderstanding with Russia who put its nuclear forces on alert.

Southern Israel near the border with Gaza is still under a “mini lockdown” with closed roads and train tracks. The reason is credible information that the Palestinian Islamic jihad received orders from Iran to use Russian made Kornet (9M13M) anti tanks guided missiles against Israeli civilian vehicles.

Israel’s Defense Minister Benny Gantz instructed the IDF to prepare for the possibility of widespread attacks against Islamic Jihad targets along the Gaza Strip, in response to the threat of an anti-tank missile attack on IDF soldiers and Israeli citizens, following which the roads were closed. The security establishment fears that Hamas may join to escalate and launch rockets towards the center of the State of Israel.
