Fresh revelations about TikTok come as Senate considers the divestment bill
Senator Marco Rubio, a longtime critic of the app and proponent of a forced divestment, wrote in the pages of the New York Post last month after the House passed the first version of its TikTok divestment bill, arguing in support of the measure.

What happens after Ukraine burns through this 60.8 billion of US taxpayer money? What is the plan? - Ezra Cohen
If the past 26 months are any guide, we will then repeat what happened in recent months.
The Europeans (especially Western Europeans) will scold, lecture and guilt-trip us into sending more aid. And many Americans will claim that this must be done or else you "love Putin" and "want World War 3 in Europe."
If the West Europeans took this conflict seriously, they'd obviously be spending at least 3% GDP on defense in 2024 and they would have mobilized their DIBs back in 2022. They'd also be sending huge amounts of military aid to Ukraine.
Their actions speak much louder than their words, particularly in the context of France, which has sent a very small amount of aid to Ukraine in total terms and as a % of GDP.

The New York Stock Exchange is polling market participants on the merits of trading stocks around the clock as regulators scrutinise an application for the first 24/7 bourse.
The survey by the NYSE, part of Intercontinental Exchange, was put out by its data analytics team rather than its management, but it highlights the growing interest in trading the likes of Nvidia or Apple overnight between 8pm and 4am Eastern time.
The issue has become a hot topic in recent years, prompted in part by the 24/7 operation of cryptocurrency trading and the rise in retail investor activity first spurred by coronavirus pandemic lockdowns.

Just as the Senate is anxious to get on the road for its scheduled recess, Republicans who oppose the bill are demanding votes on amendments and procedural motions to hold up the bill - and urging their colleagues to vote against it.
The upper chamber will vote to invoke cloture and begin debate on the bill Tuesday morning - starting a 30-hour clock before they can vote on final passage unless there's agreement to vote sooner. Senate leaders could offer angry opposers votes on their amendments to keep them from holding up the legislation any longer.
Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, urged voters: 'We Don't Have To Pass This Bill Tell Your Senators To Vote 'No!' #KillTheBill.'
The foreign aid package has laid to bare a rift within the GOP almost as vast as the on between the two parties. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., tore into Ohio Republican Sen. J.D. Vance for his anti-Ukraine aid stance over the weekend.
