A bail fund championed by Vice President Kamala Harris suffered a 98 percent drop in contributions in 2021, tax forms obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show.

The Minnesota Freedom Fund raised just $837,000 in 2021, according to its IRS Form 990 filing. That’s a far cry from the $41.7 million the group raised in 2020 during the George Floyd riots. Harris urged people to support the fund "to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota." The Freedom Fund used those donations to bail out a host of violent offenders, including alleged murderers and pedophiles.

Andy Biggs says McCarthy's reliance on Democrats is 'really concerning'

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) expressed concern that the debt ceiling agreement struck over the weekend represents a "new coalition" in which House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) would "go to Democrats more than his own party."

In an appearance on Fox and Friends, Biggs joined a growing group of conservatives in criticizing the debt ceiling negotiations between McCarthy and President Joe Biden. McCarthy may have to turn to Democratic votes if more conservatives join the revolt against the deal, a prospect that worries Biggs.

The FBI arrested Eric Charles Welton, 51, at the Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport as he returned to the U.S. from overseas.

An American citizen living in Thailand was arrested after allegedly threatening a North Carolina Republican senator and congressional staffers as well as U.S. Marines, prosecutors said.

A report Tuesday by Media Matters for America showed that Arizona Sen. Janae Shamp has peddled QAnon online for years. Shamp last week co-chaired the Arizona Legislature’s Novel Coronavirus Southwestern Intergovernmental Committee, which held two days of hearings featuring a series of COVID conspiracy theories. 

Although the official name of the panel spells the word “southwestern” correctly, the committee’s outside boosters intentionally divided the word into “south western” in order to use the acronym in their promotion.
