Advanced wheeled self-propelled artillery units will be able to take part in a special military operation in Ukraine. The vehicles are currently completing the necessary tests.
According to the Zvezda TV channel, with reference to the management of the TsNII Burevestnik JSC, the company involved in tests and work on the new SPG, the production facilities have been put to round-the-clock work, which should speed up all the planned activities.
It was especially noted that the assembly of the new combat vehicles is already underway in the workshops of the plant before the final acceptance of the self-propelled guns for service.
According to journalists, speeding up work on the wheeled self-propelled gun-machines may contribute to the fact that they will soon find their way to the front.
Russia is currently completing tests of the 82mm Drok, 120mm Phlox and 152mm Malva SPGs.

The sale of a part of the Budennovskoye mine by the national atomic company Kazatomprom to the Russian nuclear energy corporation Rosatom resulted in the resignation of top managers from the Kazakh company, Bloomberg reported.
The Budennovskoye deposit in the Turkestan region is the biggest uranium deposit in Kazakhstan and one of the biggest in the world. A deal to sell a stake in it to Rosatom has been under discussion for several years, Bloomberg noted. Kazatomprom announced in its 2022 financial report that it had taken control of 49% of the mine.
Bloomberg cited sources as saying that the deal to sell the strategic deposit was promoted by Kazakhstan's sovereign wealth fund (Samruk-Kazyna) against the position of Kazatomprom's management. "The desire to complete the deal behind closed doors resulted in the loss of two chief executive officers, a chief financial officer, a chief operating officer and a chief commercial officer in less than 18 months," the agency wrote. Galymzhan Pirmatov, the company's CEO, was the first to leave in August 2021. His successor, Mazhit Sharipov, left last July, while the chief operating officer, Aslan Bulekbay, left in March. Kamila Syzdykova, Chief Financial Officer, and Askar Batyrbaev, Chief Commercial Officer, left in December.

According to Military Chronicle, the high-precision ammunition landed on the coke shop No. 2 of the Avdiivka chemical plant (immediately behind the thermal power plant), where the fortified command and observation posts of the 53rd and 115th mechanized brigades were installed.
According to preliminary reports, a warehouse containing ammunition for 82 and 120 mm mortars as well as tank shells was hit.
After penetrating the concrete slabs, the ammunition detonated in the lower level rooms. The explosion also presumably snagged tanks containing diesel fuel, which AFU units use to run generators. A large fire broke out.
From this stronghold, artillery units of the Ukrainian armed forces have long been coming into position to bombard Donetsk. There are also storage hangars for tanks and barracks for personnel.
