Matt Taibbi calling out the censorship of Elon Musk's Twitter over Matt Walsh's new documentary "What is a Woman?"
As soon as Musk agreed to ban NJP, PA & Kanye West for criticism of Jewish power, the same kind of "censorship creep" that occurred under Jack Dorsey became inevitable. Once Musk showed he is willing and able to censor, i.e. to bow to the will of the powerful, then he opened Twitter up to the same pressure forces that took Twitter from being the "free speech wing of the free speech party" to deplatforming the sitting president of the United States within three years.
While working on the Twitter Files, I saw the current system was designed so that even the most defiant CEO of a platform like Twitter would quickly be forced to choose between speech and survival. The reach of the “anti-disinformation” complex is such that the loss of a potential multi-million-dollar advertiser like The Daily Wire is a pittance compared to regulatory issues, corporate boycotts, and other nightmares that can be thrown at a platform that bucks on content. Nervous heterodox voices seem already to be wondering what it will mean if Musk Twitter really folds over relatively genteel thoughtcrime like What is a Woman? If this has to go, what stays?

On another fine summer’s day here in Wales, PA Wales activists gathered to enjoy breakfast together and then visit the picturesque Cyfarthfa Castle, Merthyr Tydfil. Commissioned and built in 1824-25 for ‘The Ironmaster’ William Crawshay II, Cyfarthfa is one of the best examples of a 19th-century country residence to have survived in South Wales.
Historic culture, good food and good company combined in a convivial and informative outing for these PA Wales activists.

Yesterday, PA North West activists started our day of activism Ulverston, where we held a banner in the town market square. From there we continued to Dalton-in-Furness, a small market town in Furness peninsula, where we were joined by the Yorkshire Regional Organiser and the Deputy Leader, and we held two banners in front of Dalton Castle. This was then followed by a final banner drop at Furness Abbey, a former monastery founded by Stephen of Blois in 1123, who later became King of England.
Our final destination was Barrow-in-Furness town centre, where we held a stall by the 'Spirit of Barrow' statue. We gave out leaflets and interacted with the public. The response was generally positive. One member of the public took some leaflets to distribute in Lancaster, and another filmed some of our activism to spread on his own social media channels. Afterwards, we visited Simon Fell MP's office to deliver some leaflets.
We finished the day with a well-deserved pint and meal in a pub near Ulverston.
