What are security guards meant to do? Let the store be ransacked as staff members are beaten? Apparently so!

A friend of mine dug this 1998 article up from the Green Left publication in Australia. It's an interesting read. Prior to the political rise of anti-immigration populists (Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party) at the 1996 election, the Greens (the most far left relevant political party in Australia) had anti-immigration policies for ecological reasons. Then once these policies became re-popularised on the Right for "racist" reasons, they completely reversed stance. This demonstrates the Left's reactionary commitment to anti-Whiteness exceeds all of its other priorities to the point of totally overriding its goals.

The idea that population growth, in and of itself, causes environmental destruction has been dominant in Australia's environmental movement. This led to the Greens, the Australian Conservation Foundation and parties such as the Australian Democrats lending their support to "a zero net migration policy" (where the numbers of people entering Australia can be no more than the number of those who leave) as propounded by Australians for an Ecologically Sustainable Population (AESP).

Such a position has left environmentalists open to charges of national chauvinism, isolationism and racism. This has become clearer for environmentalists with the rise of Hanson and her racist attacks on migrants. The Greens' members who argued for the need to "stabilise" Australia's population found themselves uncomfortably close to One Nation's support for a zero net migration policy. Hanson has at times used the "excess population" argument herself.

I mean this is a party that supposedly cares so much about the environment that they call themselves 'the Greens' and yet as soon as it dawns on them that racists might agree with an environmentalist policy they totally abandoned it. Truly laughable. And this was back when Australia's immigration policy was only to take in 60,000 migrants a year, last year Australia smashed our all time migrant intake record taking in 400,000. The Greens of course offer zero opposition to this even though their official population policy clearly states that "the current level of population, population growth and the way we produce and consume are outstripping environmental capacity." These people are a complete joke.

It's almost like the people running the media are desperate for the West to attack another Middle Eastern country.
I wonder who could be behind this?
