Investing in a One Health approach: Critical milestones and Implications for future public health response - World Bank #REDISSE project

"Global health security expands on national health security, to ensure a resilient health system to respond to public health threats.

This requires a collaborative effort through a One Health Approach"

~ Dr. Oyeladun Okunromade, NCDC Head of IHR/One Health division
The World Bank launched the RegionalDisease Surveillance Systems Enhancement (REDISSE) project in 2016 to respond to challenges and help protect countries from infectious disease epidemic threats like Ebola and future epidemics.

The #REDISSE project in Nigeria aims to achieve a sustainable impact on the capacity for disease surveillance and response in the country.
