The 4th annual “A Ride to Remember'' was held in Mission Hills to honor fallen first responders. Originally started as a tribute to an officer who died of COVID-19 shots, it has since expanded to honor and remember all fallen first responders. Anaheim police launch pilot program using Tesla Model Ys as patrol vehicles.

The department said ongoing supply chain issues have made getting replacement gas-powered vehicles and parts harder. The newly purchased six Model Ys will be put in service after 16 officers are trained to use them.
