The DOJ could indict more than 1,000 additional people on charges related to the January 6th 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.
The DOJ sent a letter to Chief Judge Beryl Howell of the District Court for the District of Columbia on October 28 warning that the court should prepare for another 700 to 1,200 defendants, according to Bloomberg, which reviewed the letter and first reported it Wednesday. At the time, the DOJ had filed charges against roughly 900 people.

The CDC paid one firm $420,000 and another $208,000. That bought access to location data from at least 55 million cellphone users.
