But in all seriousness, the West has no grounds to stand on in complaining about Russian censorship of media. We all woke up this morning to find out that you can't access RT on American and western European telegram accounts anymore, and the explanation is that the content "violates local laws". Which laws are those? This isn't a new development either; in early February, before the war had started, Germany shut down RT's German operations, claiming that RT lacked the correct licensing to continue to broadcast in that country.

And of course, American dissidents have been silenced for years now, and European dissidents for decades. I hardly need to go into detail about this, we all know about this long-running story as we are all intimately a part of it.
