๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ทโญ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ“ โ€” ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท Minister of the Secretariat of Social Communication of Brazil, Paulo Pimenta, calls for an investigation against critics of the actions of the Armed Forces and the Lula government in the tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul (RS)

โžก๏ธ The minister announced today that he has sent a notification to the Federal Police (PF) and the Attorney General's Office (AGU), requesting an investigation into individuals who, according to him, spread "fake news" about the government and the Armed Forces' actions in the tragedy in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

โ‰๏ธ Criticism of the military's role in rescuing victims in the state. Pimenta went as far as labeling these opinions as "crimes," although there is no law that defines such conduct in this way.

โ˜„๏ธ Several profiles that denounced the negligence of the federal government and praised the actions of businessmen helping the population affected by the floods were listed in the documents.

โš ๏ธ Names of influencers, deputies, and even people who are rescuing others were listed. One of them is Pablo Marรงal, a businessman who stopped his own life to send food and get on boats and jet skis to rescue people trapped in flooded homes.

๐ŸŒน The government dedicated three paragraphs and used a newspaper known for its left-wing ideology (DCM) to try to refute his statements.

๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ’ฌโŒ โ€” The Attorney General of Venezuela, the Chavista Tarek William Saab, accused journalists of being part of an "extortionate structure" funded by former Oil Minister Tareck El Aissami, who was arrested for corruption, allegations that the reporters rejected as a "defamatory maneuver"

๐Ÿ“ Saab stated that El Aissami - arrested on April 9 for embezzlement at the state-owned oil company PDVSA - "had at his service an extortionate media structure" to "attack the authorities of the State" and mentioned journalists from the investigative journalism portal ArmandoInfo, which has made multiple reports of irregularities in state-owned companies and projects, as well as other journalists.

โ€ผ๏ธ The accused journalists, Edwald Scharfenberg and Roberto Deniz, went into exile in 2018 after being sued by Colombian businessman Alex Saab, a regime contractor who is alleged to be a frontman for Nicolรกs Maduro.

โ—๏ธ It is worth noting that the Venezuelan Attorney General's Office, led by Saab, is used by the Maduro regime to attack politicians, journalists, social leaders, and any kind of dissident voice. The agency lacks credibility.

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ›ฌ โ€” Cuba is trying to revive its diminished tourism sector with Chinese travelers

โžก๏ธ A report from Global Times, a media outlet serving the Chinese Communist Party, states that searches for keywords like "Cuban hotels" and "flights" increased "by more than 40% on the Ctrip travel platform compared to the previous day." This happened half an hour after the announcement of a visa-free policy starting this month for Chinese citizens.

โŒ Cuba became an "unattractive tourism market," reported Diario de Cuba a year ago. The reasons are not hard to guess: poor quality of services in hotels, including power outages, lack of supplies and food, as well as insecurity, fuel and medicine shortages.
