๐ต๐ฐโ๏ธ๐จ๐ณ #Pakistanโs Navy will induct the first ship of itโs new Hangor-class of eight nuclear-armed attack submarines next year, and the twi shipbuilding companies building the fleet, Pakistanโs KSEW and Chinaโs CSIC for the Navyโs Next Generation Submarine Program.
The new class of 3,000 tonne submarines will be armed with Babur III SLCMs for strategic deterrence patrol, to provide the sea-based component of Pakistanโs nuclear triad, the guarantor of the Pakistani Second Strike,
The Hangor class order, worth slightly over $5 billion, included the modification of these submarines to be powered by air-independent propulsion (AIP) augmented by a diesel-electric engine. AIP propulsion allows non-nuclear powered submarines to operate without the need for surfacing for a significantly longer duration than conventionally powered submarines.
Eight ships were ordered for the Pakistan Navy in 2015, set to begin delivery in 2024 and end by 2028.

๐จ๐ต๐ฐ๐จ๐ณ ~ NEW: Pakistan Air Force has announced to acquire '5th Generation stealth fighter jet' J-31 from China. "Today that the foundation for acquiring the J-31 Stealth Fighter aircraft has already been laid." PAF Chief Ahmed Babar. "J-31 is all set toโฆ
๐จ๐ต๐ฐ๐จ๐ณ ~ The J-31 stealth fighter is powered by two afterburning turbofan engines producing 115 kN of thrust each, for a total of 230 kN of wet thrust, allowing it to supercruise.
The jet has an MTOW of 28,000 lbs, so it is able to carry a stealth loadout of a mix of four long range missiles in its two fuselage-contoured internal weapon bays, with no external fuel tanks and still have a 1,250 kilometre combat range.
The aircraft is exhaustively engineered with next-generation stealth characteristics, multi-spectrum stealth materials coating as well as RCS reduction designs in every external component, in addition to other low-observability features for example serrated exhaust nozzles and rear fuselage cowlings for infrared and radar observability reduction.
It also includes sensor fusion capabilities including manned-unmanned teaming, next-generation situational awareness including an all-aspect 360ยฐ Electro-Optical targeting search-track system alongside a distributed aperture sensor system.
The aircraft will be one of two fifth generation combat fighter aircraft the PAF ๐ต๐ฐ intends to field starting from the beginning of the 2030s.
