In 2019, we launched the #TurnNigeriaOrange campaign, a strategy for our National #InfectionPreventionandControl programme, with an overarching goal to support, establish & mentor a network of healthcare facilities across Nigeria to serve as centres of excellence for #IPC.

Yesterday, the #NCDCTeam joined the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, a centre of excellence in the #OrangeNetwork to commemorate the #WorldHandHygieneDay2022.

We continue to work with health facilities in the network to consolidate the milestones recorded so far.
Viral Haemorrhagic Fevers such as #LassaFever spread mainly from person to person through direct & indirect contact.

When properly done, #HandHygiene is very important to reduce the risk of healthcare workers' infection.
