Im ersten Quartal 2023 zogen die Einleger bei FRC vierzig Prozent (40 %) der gesamten Einlagen bei der Bank ab! Schlimmer noch, wenn die größeren Banken nicht 30 Milliarden Dollar eingezahlt hätten, um sie zu stützen, betrug der tatsächliche Auszahlungsbetrag von FRC siebenundfünfzig Prozent (57%).

Bei der Veröffentlichung ihrer Zahlen am späten Montag stellte die Bank schnell fest, dass sie fünfundzwanzig Prozent (25%) ihrer Belegschaft abbaut und "strategische Optionen verfolgt".

Innerhalb weniger Minuten nach der Veröffentlichung der Quartalszahlen begann der Aktienkurs von FRC zu sinken und hat nun 22,19% seines Schlusswerts vom Montag verloren.

So wird die FRC in der Finanzbranche nun offen als "Zombie"-Bank bezeichnet.

Für das, was es wert ist, ist FRC die achtzehntgrößte Bank in den Vereinigten Staaten. Die Tatsache, dass die Banken in den Top 11-20 jetzt zu "Zombies" werden, bedeutet, dass sich die Ansteckung wahrscheinlich innerhalb von 1 Monaten auf die Top-10-3-Banken ausbreiten wird.
