Tomorrow if I get too bored I will talk about binomial distributions and how this affects the number of missiles launched by a SAM battery.

Perhaps more important is the fact that we are launching the shop tomorrow.

Many bloggers say that hohols did not build any defence line at Volchansk or Liptsy, having plundered all the money, and that this is why we broke through the front so quickly.

That's not true at all.

Of course the Hohols stole the money, but first of all, there is a defence line and it is very solid, and secondly, the fact that they could not complete it completely is a great merit of the North group. The group tried to destroy the enemy's construction equipment that dug fortifications in our offensive line.

Here are shots of yesterday's strike kamikaze drone ‘Ghoul’ on a camouflaged enemy firing point in the direction of Liptsy. As you can see, the hohols have built a defence line. Don't think that Storm of the North has an easy ride, since he went so quickly and deeply into the enemy defence. Courage of soldiers and correct decisions of the command is the guarantee of success, theft in the construction of defence lines is a pleasant but very minor factor.

We also have satellite images of the Belbek airfield.
Before the images FighterBomber talked about:
1x Mig-31 destroyed
3x Su-27 in different states of damage

2x launchers of the S-300/400 system
1x radar

11 casualties.

All in all, it looks like the real numbers.

Back to Assassins Creed, since it's a saga I was obsessed with back in the day (with 15 I built myself a functional hidden blade ...).

This morning while taking a shit I thought of a story about 20 or 30 times better and that would still tick all the boxes to be covered in a modern videogame (like being focused on ‘minorities’ etc).

On the one hand, Assassin's Creed has already had black protagonists and even though I'm a racist, I liked this game a lot because it was logical with the story and coherent with the saga.
We have both Adéwalé, who was a pirate ship captain, an environment known historically precisely because there blacks managed to be free and be pirates, plus the story is consistent with the game, a black guy in the Caribbean in the era of piracy does not stand out, it is not something absurd. We also have a black or mixed race girl ‘Aveline De Grandpré’ and her story is set in New Orleans during the time of the revolution, again, this is logical.

The choice of the black ‘samurai’ is obvious, it's about doing ‘service’ to the black American population, it's not even something thought in the mind of a real African, but it's a story made to satisfy this western audience let's say. That is to say African-Americans and cuck/normies-whites.
Why aren't there any games that cover black characters, in Africa? or movies? or series?
You could even make the game about how the assassin deals with a Templar conspiracy (with blacks and whites) of slave trade ...
When you look at the historical facts of the black ‘samurai’ it's all very absurd. In case he was a real samurai (he wasn't) and not some kind of curiosity who surrendered in his first battle, you would have the obvious fact that he was the ONLY black man for thousands of miles around. Not very good at stealth ...

This is where I introduce my own idea:
Make a game that focuses on the Japanese Tensho embassy (1582 - 1590) to the West.
Here everything would be coherent with the internal logic of the game and the external logic with the story.
The embassy of about 500 members went down to Mexico and then to Spain, and across Europe to Rome, to meet the Pope.

The Japanese would not stand out so much, as there would be 500 of them, so you could create the story of some kind of attempt of contact between Templars in the East and the West and Japanese Assassin infiltrators.
You could even talk about the corruption (again) of the Church and the Japanese embassy, more focused on this than on faith.
The Japanese visiting Mexico and the Caribbean and Rome would visit locations already covered by the saga but in other eras, so you could play with nostalgia, make references and explain lore. For example, the Japanese assassin could visit a shrine to Ezio ...
The game would deal with several cultures and events, for example following the corporative line we could talk about the forced conversion of the conquered by the european conquerors for example ...

At the same time this would have connections with the modern world and therefore with the whole story of genetic memory on which the game is based. Because Japanese ambassadors and samurai, enamoured with the beauty of Southern Spain, decided to settle there and not to return to Japan.

Thus, today in the small town of ‘Coria del Rio’ in the south of Spain there are about 1000 people with the surname ‘Japon’ (Japan) as their lineage goes back to them, many of them even show clear asiatic features in their appearance. The town has been visited on more than one occasion by the Japanese royal family.

Development by the Experimental Design Bureau-155 (since 1966, MKB "Raduga"). started in 1958. Active testing began 1961 in and was finally adopted into service in 1967.

In order not to extend the article too much, I will not go into too much detail about the design history and early variants as well as subcomponents, but I will point out important details.
As you can imagine, a 60 year old platform has had a large number of variants: Х-22PG,X-22MA,X-22P,X-22MP,X-22 PSI,X-22M.

The variant we would be most interested in would be the X-22NA, adopted in '76 and designed for the then new Tu-22M3.
As mentioned above, the missile was adopted in '68, between '68 and '76 its launcher was the Tu-95K-22, and all previous variants were for it (some brought better speed, longer range, better sensors, operational improvements etc).

The X-22N/NP/NA, adopted for service in 1976, inertial control system with terrain correction, Circular error probability (CEP) was reduced to 300 meters from the almost 5km of some of the earliest variants (Who needs to be precise on an aircraft carrier when the idea is to obliterate the entire group with a nuclear warhead?).

The new missiles had 3 versions:
1 - X-22N (“Н”): "active" with a new Active Radar Homing Head
2 - X-22NP (“НП”): "passive" with anti-radar locating Passive Homing Head
3 - X-22NA (“НА”): "autonomous" with an inertial guidance system.

Original guidance scheme of the X-22 missile
1. Target acquisition by carrier radar and missile Active radar homing. Launch and turn away.
2. Unfixing the rudders and ignition of the liquid propellant.
3. Acceleration and climb.
4. Flight at a marching altitude of 22500m, autopilot control of the 3 axes and the Homing head. Engine on speed maintenance mode.
5. For variants Kh-22N/NP/NA: At the specified altitude in the range from 12000 to 22000m.
Control passes to the programmable autopilot and/or АРПГСН (Active/Passive Homing Head).
6. Engine shutdown and transfer of the missile into a dive at an angle of 30° after reaching a certain angle of deflection of the radar beam.
7. Explosion of the warhead according to the data of the Homing Head or upon contact with the target.

Tests demonstrated that, in the event of hitting a naval target, impacting the X-22 into the side of the target ship caused damage that could render the aircraft carrier or cruiser inoperable. At an approach speed of 800 m/s or 2.33M, the area of the hole was 22 m2 and the internal compartments were melted at a depth of 12m.

Perhaps one of the most characteristic features of the missile is that it does not use solid fuel, but like space rockets, it uses liquid fuel and a separate oxidiser.
The main advantage of this system is that it is much more energetic, which is why space rockets use it, as it has a higher specific impulse.

On the other hand, the reaction time is longer, it is not just a matter of mounting and launching, the fuel has to be loaded.
On the other hand, serious accidents occurred with the potent oxidiser and toxic fuel.
The toxicity made the X-22 missile unpopular with ground maintenance crews. The oxidiser fumes were so poisonous that technicians had to wear NBC (nuclear, biological, chemical) suits to handle the missile on the ground.

X-32

As we have said before, the system has changed a lot over half a century, the electronics no longer require so much size, leaving more space for other elements. Better fuels and engines have been developed, materials have improved in all aspects, especially in terms of heat resistance (air friction is enormous at these speeds).

Range parameters improved from the first variants of 330 km to 800 km, then 1000km.
The speed followed a similar course, 2160 km/h to 3600. Later 4000 with the Tu-22 variants, now we are at 5400 km/h with the X-32.
The flight altitude parameters also improved, from 22.5 to the current 40 km. Other parameters have improved, such as accuracy, which in the N/NP/NA variants of the 1970s was 300m in the X-32, and now it is possible to successfully attack buildings and infrastructure, as we have seen.
The warheads have also improved, notably by no longer working on fixed frequencies, but have homing heads that are much more resistant to noise and interference.

The current guidance scheme of the X-32 missile would be similar to the old one, but with much improved parameters:

The missile describes quasi-ballistic trajectory at altitudes of 40 - 45 km with a maximum speed of 5.08M and average trajectory 4.3 to 3.7M (1M = 1234,8 km/h)
The missiles X-32 (9-A-2362) despite having a big RCS of about 1 square metre are capable of overcoming Patriot PAC-3 MSE SAMs, passing outside the 27km altitude intercept range of the MIM-104F missiles.

Here in general we see traces of the classic Cold War weapons development paradigms of "Fly High, Fly Fast".
As we can see, if you do those two things well enough, you are still relevant.

Approximately 50 km from the target, the X-32 can enter dive mode at an angle of 55 to 60 degrees at a speed of 3.5M to 3M.

After entering the 27km high altitude interception boundaries of the MIM-104F anti-missile missiles, the Patriot crew has between 20 to 23 seconds to intercept until the X-32 reaches its target.

In early 2024, it became known through a source in Ukrainian intelligence sources that a new X-32 equipped with heavy cluster warheads weighing from 600 to 1000 kg had been created.

The submunitions could be "dumb" 9Н235 type bombs.
Either the Motiv-3M smart bombs or the newer СПБЭ-К "Дрель"
For more information on these submunitions visit my entry on them in action:
https://teleg.eu/the_Right_People/26207
General characteristics:
https://teleg.eu/the_Right_People/26208

These new systems will therefore be ideal for attacking radar systems, armoured columns in the deep rear (as training bases) or airfields.

Х-22Б "Ballistic"

In the late 1970s work began on the Х-22Б "Ballistic" and some prototypes were made.
Due to the semiballistic trajectory, it could accelerate on the dive to a speed corresponding to 6M and had a maximum flight altitude of 70 km, the dive angle was much greater too, being more difficult to intercept in the final stages too.
Technical problems closed the way to this product in series, but on the basis of the X-22B was created a number of experimental aircraft designed to study the aerodynamics of hypersonic speeds, testing new engines (including direct-flow and external compression), Control Systems and electronics.
Although as we have seen the 32 is a much improved version of the 22, the parameters could be improved even further.

The saddest thing about the attack on the Crimean airfield is that the most important damage, that of the aircraft, could have been avoided by building simple concrete shelters.
These shelters were no longer used because warheads capable of penetrating them appeared long ago:
https://teleg.eu/the_Right_People/19803
https://teleg.eu/the_Right_People/29046

But this means using 1 warhead per structure and even then this may not be enough if the structures are large enough or thick enough + you need to be really accurate, at the same time the detonation is at the point, not hundreds of metres above it.

Aircraft parked in the open are incredibly weak to area munitions such as the cluster munitions of the ATACMS used.
There is talk of the arrival of 3 of the 10 missiles launched.
If there had been concrete structures and aircraft in them, no aircraft would have been destroyed, only the storage hangar.
If the warheads had been anti-infrastructure/perforators and had hit with precision, we would be talking about a maximum of 3 objects destroyed and not 10 (between SAMs/hangars/aircraft).

Two years after the war, the construction of these hangars has not even been considered. We hope that with the ousting of the corrupt Shoigu and his network, all this will improve.
